Built in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council, this leisure-led mixed-use development was completed at the end of 2012 and has transformed this five acre site in Llanelli town centre. East Gate is anchored by a five-screen Odeon cinema, alongside a 53-bed Travelodge and several well-known restaurant and retail operators such as Nando’s, Costa, Ladbrokes, Greene King and Jenkins Bakers. Adjacent to East Gate, the recently developed 550-seat Ffwrnes regional theatre means that the entire area has become a local focal point for leisure activity.
The development also includes 21,000 sq. ft. of office space for the Council, 230 car parking spaces and a new bus interchange to ensure East Gate is easily accessible from Carmarthen town.
