  • Scott Davidson – BSc (Hons), MCIOB, MRICS Managing Director

    Scott founded HDD in 1992 and has worked in the property industry for over three decades. While retaining overall responsibility for the performance of the business, Scott is also involved in project delivery, ensuring that HDD’s professional, fair and honest approach to doing business is present every time the team works on a retail-led development.

    Outside of HDD, Scott is a very keen cyclist, skier and runner.

  • Richard Croft – BSc, MRICS Director

    Richard joined HDD in May 2006 and leads on large retail-led mixed-use schemes across the UK. He specialises in the delivery of technically challenging projects which contain a variety of retail, leisure and community uses. He is well known for his creative and flexible approach to problem-solving, which has helped him to earn the longstanding trust of both land owners and occupiers.

    Richard is a keen golfer, skier and rugby enthusiast – although he now prefers spectating when it comes to the latter.

  • Damian Middleton – BSc (Hons) Associate Director

    Damian has been with HDD since July 2008. In his role Damian is responsible for bidding for new opportunities, retail lettings, investment sales, residential sales and carrying out due diligence on new sites. Damian played a key role in the £9m mixed-use development at Stanground, Peterborough: from the initial land purchase and planning process right through to construction, completion and the sale of the retail element.

    In his spare time, Damian enjoys cycling, swimming and watching rugby.

  • David Twomlow – FCA Finance Director

    David has been HDD’s Finance Director since he joined the company in 2007. His role includes raising finance and co-ordinating development finance deals. One of his proudest achievements is helping HDD to continue to grow even during difficult market conditions post-2007.

    When he’s not crunching the numbers at HDD, David is a keen runner.

  • Graeme Cosgrove BSc, MRICS Director

    Graeme joined HDD as Director in September 2017 just as the company set out its plans for growth from its Birmingham base; his wealth of experience will be key in the delivery of a variety of challenging projects.

    With more than 27 years’ experience in commercial property across retail, residential and leisure in Director roles at companies including Bass, Warner Bros, Wilson Bowden Developments and latterly at Lincoln-based Simons Group Graeme is looking forward to building on the success HDD currently enjoys.

    In his spare time Graeme is a keen golfer and runner.

  • Guy Scott Bsc (Hons) Project Management Director

    Henry Davidson’s new Project Management Director, Guy Scott joined the business in May 2018, Guy is however very much known to the business as he acted for a consortium of housebuilders on HDDs Lawley Village project, the relationship extends back over many years.

    In the new role for HDD Guy will be responsible for control, procurement and delivery of the project management and cost control functions for all HDD projects.

    Guy brings over 25 years’ experience covering all aspects of the development and construction process from inception to delivery including delivery of complex and diverse schemes with values in excess of £500m.

    Out of work Guy is a keen squash and racketball player, captain of Shrewsbury Squash Club and sits on the Shropshire squash committee. Guy is also passionate about the great outdoors and in his spare time also plays the guitar.

  • Duncan Weir Bsc (Hons) Development Consultant

    Duncan has over 30 years of property experience. He started his career at Whitbread and was Property Director at UCI Cinemas before moving into property development. He has been responsible for the delivery of some significant and complex mixed use retail, residential and leisure developments and provides valuable experience to the team.

  • Andy Wendler BSc (Hons) MRICS Development Consultant
