Lawley scheme moves to Phase II

With Phase I of the mixed use development in Lawley, near Telford in Shropshire, already complete, fully let and sold, HDD is concentrating on Phase II.

The second phase, due for completion in the Autumn of 2013, consists of nine retail units ranging from 850 sq.ft. to 1,500 sq.ft. (12,300 sq. ft. in total). Planning has also been obtained for a 60-bed hotel and restaurant and this will be developed once an operator has been secured.

Phase II is on track to be completed on time, just like Phase 1.

Richard Croft of HHD said: “Lawley District Centre is a perfect example of what we do best: developing local and district centres and combining well-known retailers with independent businesses to ensure the community had everything it needs right on its doorstep. Phase 1 was a great success and we are now delighted to be nearing completion of phase I1.”
