Thriving Teal Park, Nottingham, ALL Employment and Trade Units Acquired
Northwood Urban Logistics have purchased all the remaining employment and trade units at the thriving £30 million mixed use development in Nottingham from Warwickshire based property company AC Lloyd and Nottingham based, Henry Davidson Developments (HDD) in their first joint venture. A 30,000 sqft unit has already been sold to the national self-storage operator, Storage Giant.
The trade park includes Toolstation, Screwfix, Howdens, Trent Valley Windows, Trent Valley Charging, Karcher UK and Paintwell. Selling the final phase of six large employment units totalling 116,835 sqft completed the deal with the specialist investor in UK logistics sites now owning the entire Teal Park development with the exception of Storage Giant.
Managing Director of AC Lloyd Mark Edwards said Teal Park was proving to be a huge success for businesses from a wide range of sectors.
He said “This was our first major development in the East Midlands and the Teal Park site has proved to be a fantastic success.”
Richard Croft, Director at HDD added, “The final six employment units which range from 9,606 sqft to 31,553 sqft are now under the ownership of Northwood Urban Logistics who will have responsibility for marketing the site. The development is a real success story for the local area, so far Teal Park has attracted a number of high-quality operators and I’m sure it will go from strength to strength.
In addition to the employment units, Birds Bakery and Valley CiDs charity shop are the latest retail units to have opened in the Local Centre with Pizza Triangle due to open its first restaurant in Nottingham in the New Year.
Together with Aldi opening its doors in August this year with such a great range of retail occupiers the area is a hive of activity and the local centre and the development as a whole have created a lasting legacy and will create over 350 new jobs to Netherfield and its surrounding communities.
Scott Davidson, Managing Director of HDD said, “I am delighted on behalf of the HDD team to have been involved in delivering this significant employment generating opportunity for the people of Netherfield”.
