Terms agreed for two new Development Sites in Southern England

HDD have agreed terms for the acquisition of two new sites, in both cases, forming part of major new residential schemes.

The sites, one in Kent, the other in Oxfordshire, have the benefit of outline planning and will be developed for a mix of retail, leisure and other uses. Occupier interest in both sites is strong and it is anticipated that works will start on site in mid –2018.

HDD announced today that as a part of its growth strategy Alastair Robertson-Dunn has joined the company as Development Director. Alastair will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring both short and long-term development opportunities comprising both mixed-use and residential development projects.

Alastair comes with a wealth of experience within the Industry, latterly at Bilfinger GVA, Birmingham, where Alastair was instrumental in the success of numerous projects including the Mailbox and Paradise schemes.

HDD is pleased to announce it has let a further 5,600 sq ft unit in its Eastgate Development to a gym operator.

This leaves only 2 units remaining totalling 2,900 sq ft available.
